Victorian Turquoise Pendant Locket

A rather beautiful natural turquoise locket pendant in silver gilt. Really special and in wonderful antique condition it can hold an image to the reverse. 4.3cms long and 2.5cms wide, or just over 1.5inches long and 1 inch wide. 9.3gms. This locket dates from about 1870, with the original crystal glass silver and 15ct gold. Another similar one can be found in the archives of Lang Antiques which show it as an example of mid Victorian Jewellery.
