About
A beautiful blue natural sapphire and diamond diamond late art deco period ring circa 1940 early mid century 1950, the ring is set in platinum and stamped accordingly. Very wonderful original piece, diamonds are baguette cut and bright and the sapphire is a lovely royal blue. The central stone is 6mm x 5mm x 4mm making it about 1.7cts. The blue of the sapphire is a lovely deep blue, and the setting is wonderful, baguette diamonds totalling about 0.5ct, VS2, colour G/H.
