About
A very rare early brooch of a dove carrying an olive branch in flight converted to a necklace on an antique 9ct gold chunky chain. The total diamond weight is about 1.75ct. It is set in gold and silver with a ruby for an eye. . The brooch dates from the Georgian early victorian period from the ottoman empire, it is a beautiful original rare piece. The chain has been created so that it can be worn at two lengths high and low on the neck. The images show the bird before conversion as a brooch and as it is now on the chain.
